Randy wears MANY hats, but he is known by many as "Chicken Man." He started at Pickering in 1997. An avid raiser of poultry, Randy took Pickering's poultry department to new heights. He and his wife Barb live on a farm with many animals. Musically talented too, Randy enjoys playing saxaphone with the popular big band, the Swing Kings.

For over 33 years Bill and Janna have been dedicated to keeping Pickering a friendly family store that you can depend on for sound advice. Both involved in the local community, Bill has served as West Pikeland Township supervisor and Janna was on the local election board for over 40 years and volunteers at the National Historic Landmark, Anselma Mill. They are parents of Jim, Debby, and Susan and grandparents of Matthew, Erin, Tommy,and Jack...and two sibling kitties. Annually, Bill & Janna prepare and serve a much-loved Christmas dinner with all the trimmings to the entire Pickering staff.

Son of Bill & Janna Cracas, Jim has been with Pickering before he was tall enough to be seen over the counter. He is a great resource of product knowledge in many departments for customers and staff. A life tidbit, he did Navy duty on a nuclear sub. He and his wife Penny, Matthew 13, Erin 8 and their dachsund Daisy live in Chester Springs.

Diane has been at Pickering since 1989. She and her husband Nate and children Tim, Steve, Sarah, and now Hanna have all worked at Pickering over the past decade. Diane is also busy homeschooling Hanna and helping out at church where Nate is pastor.

Gail has been a valuable part timer at Pickering since 1996. Besides her customer service and secretarial duties, Gail and her husband John keep our poinsettias looking beautiful for the entire Christmas season. Gail dearly loves spending time with her 4 grandchildren, working in her large veggie garden, and baking from scratch. Her homemade goodies are much enjoyed & appreciated by the PVFteam.

Susan has been at Pickering since 1998. She is a wonderful resource for salt water fish customers. She and her husband George have 2 children, George, a junior in HS and Kristin attends Immaculata College. Susan enjoys walking their handsome German Sheperd Kody.

Sandy has a passion for serving customers and their pets. He's been doing it at Pickering since 2000. Upon entering the store, you can depend on his friendly "hello" and on occasion, hearing some free entertainment, as he spontaneously bellows out a song. He is very well read and knowlegeable about pet care and training. Under his personal care at home are:1 siberian husky, 1 cocker spaniel, 1 chow chow, 1 rescued chihuahuah, 8 cockatiels, 1 African Grey parrot, 5 doves, 1 canary, and 3 cats. A zany menagerie, just like Sandy.

Tristan has been with Pickering since 2000, graduating from Great Valley HS in 2001. He keeps our inventory flowing. He has one older and one younger brother. Fiercely competitive and fun-loving, he hosts the annual Slip n'Slide party and loves to play volley ball, poker, and darts.

Jared has been managing Pickering's truck delivery logistics since 2000. He is originally from Southern CA and is the oldest of 4 brothers and 2 sisters. He and his wife Jen are the proud parents of beautiful Lily, pictured here as a toddler. Jared likes sports competition and enjoys organizing Pickering's annual Thanksgiving Football game.

Kathy has been with Pickering since 2001 and manages our popular & extensive dog treats department. She enjoys her own hair salon business and recently is taking great pleasure in her first granddaughter Caroline Dale. Kathy is an avid walker and is very knowlegeable about nutrition.

Tom has been with Pickering since 2002. He is a valuable resource for pond & garden customers. Recently graduating from Elizabethtown College in Buisness Admin with a concentration in marketing & entrepreneurship, he is now with Pickering full time. He thoroughly enjoys the outdoors and his family of 2 sisters, 1 younger brother, 1 kittie, 2 aquariums and 2 golden retrievers, Amber and Brandy.

Kim has been on the PVFteam since 2002. She is a knowledgeable customer resource for caring for small animals and fresh water fish aquariums. She enjoys training and caring for her 2 year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi Gimli.

Eric has been on the PVFteam since 2003 and takes good care of our delivery customers. He is married to Maegan and loves to spend time with his 5 year old nephew Rhys and his new niece Zoe. He is an avid and competitive disc golfer.

Doug has been with Pickering since 2003. He is married to Lynne. Doug enjoys making his own beer, gardening, landscaping, and his antique auto, a 1946 Mercury. Graduating from the Arts Institute of Philadelphia, Doug holds a BA in Business. He has experience in graphic arts and videography.

On the PVFteam since 2003, Bill is especially helpful to wildbird enthusiasts, drawing from his passion for bird watching. He is married to Rose for over 45 years and has a BFA in advertising and graphic design. In addition to bird watching, Bill enjoys reading and driving his classic car.

J.J.'s smile is contagious. He has been with Pickering since 2004. As a part timer, he helps customers and lends a hand in the warehouse and outside in the garden center. He is the very proud Dad of Leyla, his beautiful almost-2-year-old daughter and is pursuing a journalism-landscape contracting degree.

Mark has been employed at Pickering since 2005, working part time while in highschool and transitioning to full time after graduation. He brings retail experience from his family's local farm market, especially in the area of trees and lawncare. Mark loves to make people laugh and can sometimes be heard loudly warbling a tune.

Bonnie has been on the PVFteam since 2006. She works with Bill and Jim Cracas designing marketing campaigns and updating our website. In spring, summer, and fall she loves being outside caring for customers and plants in our Garden Center. Bonnie enjoys riding,visits to Longwood Gardens for plant ideas,and singing and acting at Calvary Fellowship Church.

Jimmy has been with the PVFteam since 2006. He is a member of the warehouse "ninjas." He graduated from CAT Pickering,is currently attending Delco Community College and will continue on to study wild life conservation at Paul Smith College. He loves photography and his 7.5' Columbian Red Tail Boa snake.

Beth has been with Pickering since 2008. She helps to keep product shelves looking good. She is a devoted Mom to her teens Sarah & Sam, their family of guinea pigs, a rabbit and a fish tank. She also is an elementary school teacher's assistant.

Natalie has been on the PVFteam since 2008. She is a senior at Downingtown East and competes in cross country and track. She likes to draw and hone her riding skills to compete in horse shows. A lover of animals, she is pursuing becoming a vet.

Liz has been on the PVFteam since 2008. She is a senior at Downingtown East HS and is in theater arts program, aspiring to be an actress one day. She has one brother, likes to ride horses, loves her cats and turtles. She loves to entertain her co-workers by spontaneously launching into different accents...she's a natural at it!

Dave started at Pickering in fall 2008. He is in 11th grade at Coatesville Area HS. Pursuing becoming a veterinary technician, Dave also is in the CAT Branywine program for animal science. He is the oldest of 4 brothers and 6 sisters. He enjoys sports, especially doing kick boxing and is starting up a small animal grooming business.

Casey has been at Pickering since 2008. Studying biology & physics at Downingtown East, she is a senior and is pursuing college for biology/zoology. Animals a big part of her family of one brother and 3 older sisters, she has 2 gerbils, 2 parakeets, 1 corn snake,1 dog and 1 cat. Casey loves to draw animals too.

Hanna has been with Pickering since 2009. She is a very hard worker. A 9th grade Aleithia homeschooler, Hanna loves to read and enjoys writing too. At home she takes care of their 2 bunnies and 5 layer chickens. The youngest in her family, she has 2 brothers and 1 sister and carries on the Brunk family tradition of working on the PVFteam.
